Avi Cohen

Avi has over 17 years of experience in launching, developing and managing regional offices of global embedded software companies in both the United States and Israel. Prior to founding Pertech Embedded Solutions, Avi founded and managed Green Hills Software Israel, a provider of software platforms for security and reliability-sensitive industries.

In 1995 Avi founded Integrated Systems Israel and served as Managing Director. In 1999 he successfully managed the local merger with Wind River Israel, a provider of software solutions for various vertical markets based on VxWorks operating systems. Avi Served as Wind River Regional Manager until 2004. From 1992 to 1995, he was Regional Sales Manager in the Northeastern US at Integrated Systems Inc., a provider of software platforms in the embedded operating system market (pSOS). Avi holds a BSEE from Boston University.

 

 

Ron Donio
Technical Manager

Ron brings to Pertech Embedded Solutions over 25 years of experience in the embedded software and hardware markets. Over this period Ron served in a broad range of technical and management positions in privately held startups and global publicly traded companies. Before joining Pertech, Ron was responsible for embedded software development at Freescale Semiconductors using Linux and VxWorks operating systems for a multi-core environment. Prior to this, Ron held an engineering positions at Arabella Software, an embedded Linux startup. From 2000 and until 2005 Ron served as technical manager at Conexant for xDSL and VoIP products. And from 1995 to 2000 Ron held a technical management position at Integrated Systems and Wind River. Ron holds a BSCE from the Technion.
